Solo Ministry            

Traveling Light is a regeneration of our solo performance ministry that took us as far as Illinois from 2004 to 2006. While our focus was on The Bride, a 45-minute monodrama with a strong message for the Church, I was never clear about what followed. I incorporated storytelling into the mix, but this wasn't where the Lord was taking me either. So we sat, I continued writing and developed other interests, and we ministered in the prisons. The year 2011 turned out to be our breaking point, literally. In what was clearly divine intervention, the Lord redirected us to solo performance of audio theatre. I have the stories waiting to convert into audio plays, I have the royalty free music for mixing, and I even have a techie in the Midwest who can clean up my audio for CD and MP3 production! Additional provision is needed, but I'm confident that the Lord has taken care of that.

A Day in the Life: Just Do It!  “My little children, let us not love in word or in tongue, but in deed and in truth. And by this we know that we are of the truth, and shall assure our hearts before Him.” 1 John 3:18-19 This is one of those eleventh-hour scripts written for performance in Trinidad, West Indies in September 2009. I wrote the 4-part script in the afternoon, gathered the props, found the music and sound effects and performed on our final evening at the Great Commission Victory Tabernacle in Vistabella. After sitting on the shelf for two years, I dusted it off, refashioned the script, upgraded the sound effects, and even learned to run our solo-performance CD player for Living Word Fellowship's annual Women's Retreat in May 2011. A Day In the Life: Unavailable is a five-minute sketch that would be an excellent sermon starter about commitment, outreach, evangelism, and servanthood.
